Experience the Power

 The 4500 comes available with two different powertrains, the 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine, which offers exceptional torque on the 4500 model, as well as outstanding towing and hauling capabilities. The Aisin six-speed automatic transmission has been optimized for power, and is fully electronically controlled. The 6.7-liter also gets 360 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque. The other available powertrain is the 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine, standard in the 2022 model, and is paired with an 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission that offers efficiency and reliability. Also available for the Hemi is the Aisin six-speed automatic transmission for exceptional towing. 

The Command Center

The 2022 RAM 4500 is available in four different cabin trims, the Tradesman, SLT, Laramie, and the Limited. The Tradesman boasts work grade vinyl, or easy-to-clean cloth upholstery, while the SLT is available with four cloth color options for bucket or bench seats. Refresh the SLT cabin with accented interior finishes like a leather wrapped steering wheel, and a power driver’s seat. The Laramie offers a more refined atmosphere with two color sets of leather-trimmed seats to choose from, each with suede inserts and soft-touch surfaces. Lastly, the Limited comes with all leather surfaces, real wood and aluminum trim, and new for 2022 is available black interior upgrade. 

Safety and Security

The RAM 4500 will stop at nothing to keep you and your passengers safe. With features like Forward Collision Warning, and LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, you can always stay in control and away from accidents. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop is also available, so that the driver can maintain a preset distance from vehicles in the lane ahead. Whether you plan to work during the day or into the night, the 4500 has got your back with Adaptive Forward Lighting featuring bright LEd lighting and can turn up to 15 degrees to help light up obstacles ahead. 

Cabin Tech

The 2022 RAM Chassis Cab 4500 features an available Digital Rearview Mirror now equipped with Tow Mode. This improved mirror provides views of the area behind your trailer or upfit from a mounted camera, so you can always stay aware of your rig. With features like Off-Road pages and Trailer Light Check, you can display Driver Information, and set traction control, gear shifting, and more, all front and center. The 4500 is now available with a 12.0-inch touchscreen display with all-new Uconnect 5, SiriusXM Radio, smartphone capabilities, built-in navigation, and a 270° Surround View Camera. Always stay connected on the go with a wireless charging pad, nine USB ports throughout the cabin, and four Type A and Type C chargers as well.
