Most drivers eventually get in an accident. This is especially true in Minnesota where road conditions can be less than favorable. When we approach a vehicle that has been in an accident we do a full inspection of the integrity of the vehicle, as well as the obvious components. A bent or cracked bumper may have a rippled effect on other parts of the vehicle, and we want to make sure that everything is still safe. We take this extra time because safety is our utmost concern. With your repairs, we are able to also do your alignment, repairs, and make sure the vehicle operates as it should.

We make you a part of each process, and make sure you know what is happening at what time. Communication is essential for major repairs often found in body shops, and we want you to be as comfortable as possible. We also work with the vast majority of insurance companies, so we can make that part as simple as possible, too.

At Harry Brown’s, we always provide a free estimate based on the damage we can see when you bring your vehicle into our shop. If the scope of work changes due to additional damage that was impossible to see or predict before disassembling the damaged area, we will immediately contact you or your insurance company with an updated price estimate and request your approval on the continued project.

In most cases, hail damage to your vehicle can be repaired using a process called Paintless Dent Repair. The technician will manipulate the metal surface around the dent to restore the surface to its original shape. Special tools allow the damaged area to be pushed out from the inside without causing damage to the painted surface. This process significantly reduces the cost of the repair and the time needed to complete it. In cases with more significant damage, including chips in the paint, the metal will be restored to its pre-damaged shape, and then the paint can be touched up to match the rest of the vehicle panel.
When you bring your vehicle to Harry Brown’s for a repair that will be part of an insurance claim, we complete our estimate process and provide you with a copy of the estimate that you can forward to your insurance company. If they have questions regarding the estimate, we are happy to work with them or provide the information to you related to your insurance claims adjustor. Our priority is always providing the services that best meet your needs as our customers. Once your insurance company approves the estimate, we order the parts and complete the repairs. In most cases, the insurance company will pay Harry Brown’s directly for the repairs, and all you need to do is cover the amount of your deductible when you arrive to pick up your vehicle.
