There Is a Right Way and a Wrong Way to Wash
You can easily wash your car yourself with rags, sponges, soap, and water of course, but bear in mind that sponges will trap dirt and debris and that soft smooth sponge can become like sandpaper on your car’s paint job. Rags also can trap debris and dirt and you could end up damaging your paint job more if you go this route. Another consideration is if you use a bucket of soapy water, think of how dirty it gets every time you plunge the sponge into the bucket. What about rinsing - are you using clean rinse water after you have washed your vehicle? Are you drying and waxing your vehicle after the wash? It is important to protect that beautiful paint job to keep your car looking neat and clean.
