Express Performance

The Chevrolet Express comes with a choice of powertrains, the first being a 4.3-liter V-6 with 276 horsepower and 298 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. For those seeking a little bit more under the hood, there is a 6.6-liter V-8 which produces 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox. For a more fuel-efficient engine, there is the 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel, governed by an eight-speed automatic and generates 181 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The 2022 Express can tow up to 7,000 pounds and accommodate a payload of 4,280 pounds. 

Comfort and Cargo

The Express’s Passenger Van has been designed for easy seat configurations to allow for even more comfort when hauling a large group, while still having ample space for luggage. The Passenger Van can be configured to seat 12 passengers with extra cargo space in the rear, or 15 with luggage space in the back and under the seats. Also available is a Thule hitch-mounted storage container for even room for cargo or equipment. There is also rear air conditioning throughout the back of the cabin to keep your passengers nice and cool. 

Infotainment and Technology

The base model of the Express comes with an AM/FM radio, and all models are WiFi capable. A Communications package is also an option, which can add Bluetooth connectivity, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a CD player. Other available features include a 6.5-inch color touchscreen and a navigation system. The Express Van also offers a 120-volt power outlet, USB ports, and two auxiliary outlets, so you can stay powered on the job.  

Advanced Safety

Chevrolet’s Express Van offers advanced safety features to help keep you safe on the road. Standard for the Express is a rear vision camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system. There are also other available safety features like rear park assist, side blind zone alert, lane departure warning, and forward collision alerts.
